Who is responsible

What we collect
Only your email address, when you sign up. We do not collect sensitive data.
When you open or click our emails, our email service records that it happened (date, time, and which link). It uses a tracking pixel and tracked links to do this. It also records basic technical data like your IP address and device type. The website may use cookies to count visits and sign-ups.
Why we use it
1. To send you the free weekly newsletter you asked for. This is the only reason we collect your email.
2. To see which emails and links are useful, so we can make the newsletter better. We only look at totals and patterns.
We don't sell your data, rent it, or share it with sponsors or advertisers.
Who helps us
We send the newsletter with Kit (Kit Inc. / ConvertKit LLC, USA), which also hosts this website. Kit stores your email on servers in the United States and only uses it to provide this service for us. We do not share your data with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe, Kit keeps your address on a "do not email" list, so you don't get our emails again.
Your choices and rights
Unsubscribe anytime with the link at the bottom of every email. That stops all emails.
To stop open and click tracking, turn off "load images" in your email app or use its privacy protection.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or withdraw your consent. In Mexico these are called ARCO rights. Just email hola@fromsanmiguel.com from the address you signed up with. It's free, and we reply within 20 business days.
If you think we have not respected your rights, you can file a complaint with Mexico's data protection authority, the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno.
Do Not Track
We do not change anything based on "Do Not Track" signals from your browser.

If we change this notice, we'll post the new version on this page with a new date. If the change is important, we'll also tell you in the newsletter.

Datos que tratamos
Solo tu correo electrónico, cuando te suscribes. No tratamos datos personales sensibles.
Cuando abres nuestros correos o haces clic en sus enlaces, nuestro proveedor de correo registra ese hecho (fecha, hora y enlace). Lo hace mediante un píxel de seguimiento (web beacon) y enlaces rastreados. También registra datos técnicos básicos, como tu dirección IP y tipo de dispositivo. El sitio web puede usar cookies para contar visitas y suscripciones.
Finalidades
1. Enviarte el boletín semanal gratuito que solicitaste. Es la finalidad principal y necesaria.
2. Saber qué correos y enlaces son útiles, para mejorar el boletín. Solo usamos totales y tendencias.
No vendemos, rentamos ni compartimos tus datos con patrocinadores o anunciantes.
Proveedor (encargado)
Enviamos el boletín con Kit (Kit Inc. / ConvertKit LLC, Estados Unidos), que también aloja este sitio. Kit guarda tu correo en servidores en Estados Unidos y solo lo usa para prestarnos este servicio. No compartimos tus datos con nadie más, salvo que la ley lo exija.
Conservación
Hasta que te des de baja o nos pidas eliminarlos. Después de la baja, Kit conserva tu correo en una lista de "no enviar", solo para no volver a escribirte.
Cómo limitar el uso de tus datos y ejercer tus derechos
Date de baja en cualquier momento con el enlace al final de cada correo. Así dejas de recibir todos los correos.
Para evitar el seguimiento de aperturas y clics, desactiva la carga de imágenes en tu aplicación de correo o usa su protección de privacidad.
Puedes pedir acceso, rectificación o cancelación de tus datos, oponerte a su uso (derechos ARCO) o revocar tu consentimiento. Solo escribe a hola@fromsanmiguel.com desde el correo con el que te suscribiste e indica qué solicitas. Es gratuito y te respondemos en un plazo máximo de 20 días hábiles.
Si consideras que no se respetaron tus derechos, puedes acudir a la Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno.
Cambios al aviso
Publicaremos cualquier cambio en esta página, con nueva fecha. Si el cambio es importante, también te avisaremos en el boletín.
